In the paradise realm of delusion

There are times when the value of thought carries beyond the horizon of existence and consciousness like a madman suddenly perceives a flash that it could not see before.

Talking about existential topics, I came to the conclusion that Catholic morality is more and more incomprehensible to me. I see more and more gaps, silences and even ethically crippled behaviours. I once asked a person if he thought his plans would come true. "God willing," she replied. It made me dumbfounded and then bent over these words and thought about them. "God willing." "And if he doesn't." As a believer, am I blaming it all on God's will? Is the free will allegedly experienced by believers limited? The morality of god is a terribly interesting subject for me. Terribly incomprehensible and incomprehensible.

When someone is lucky and succeeds in implementing a plan, I hear: "Thank God" or "God bless you". According to Catholics (or Christians in a broader sense), God is omnipotent. Therefore, I cannot answer the question why, while somewhere in an African country a child is dying of hunger, his peer in a European country enjoys his childhood to the fullest.

It is incomprehensible to me that while children were dying in Bieslan, the Pope gave a homily in Loreto that the sanctity of life is the greatest gift (anyway, talking about the sanctity of life and at the same time condemning the African faithful to death by prohibiting the use of condoms in the area where AIDS was spreading. I find it so meaningful too).

For thousands of years, religions have been the muzzle that has kept the freedom of the individual and the development of society on a leash. A collective illusion that shaped the history of our world. Some time ago I wondered why in the 21st century, where science has progressed more than at any other time, we still allow religions to be manipulated. The development of science, in my opinion, should bring the development of societies far enough for religion to have no right to exist. Unfortunately, this is not the case. In the 21st century, we are witnesses of Christ's enthronement as the king of Poland. People whom we trusted by voting in parliamentary elections decide that they appoint a historical figure who has nothing to do with the history of our country (in fact, has a lot in common in promoting serfdom in this country) as the king of Poland. We could go a step further and enthrone Saint Nicholas as King of Poland. Or the Easter bunny.

While we ridicule the countries of the East for their fundamentalism, we are introducing a law that treats religion as supreme. And we are walking exactly the same path. I cannot understand the right-wing radicals who are paving the way to Catholic fundamentalism. Referring to the title of my post - not only Catholicism will introduce us to the paradise realm of delusion. We find ourselves in this delusion when we are overwhelmed by religions, doctrines, and traditions, and we blindly believe them. Fundamentalism finds fertile ground not only in religions. Fundamentalism grows in the fertile soil of no doubt.

I repeat this to my eldest child and repeat it to my readers. When someone tells you that to deny or doubt his (her) words is sacrilege - keep that person as far away from you as possible. When someone tells you that he has a secret knowledge that only you have access to and that you are the only one enlightened, while the unconscious rest must awaken - run away from such prophets as far as possible. Only a fool does not doubt. Only the ignorant is sure.

My mind is my temple. I myself am my own prophet. I myself am my god. And I will have no other gods before me.
