Glasses

Life is full of experiences. Today we will talk a little about them...

Each of us experiences life in different forms every day. The wealth of experience is enormous. We experience a huge amount of emotions every day. Joy, sadness, anger, delight. But do we do it consciously? Do we choose our emotions? Do we let them choose us?

When driving a car, I often encountered situations when I got angry at the way the driver in front of me  driving. I feet angry and I swear. It was usually a reflex emotion. Over time, however, I noticed these emotions and asked myself what the purpose was? My swearing and anger or frustration will not help me control another driver's driving. The frustration will only grow due to the fact that I have absolutely no influence on how the driver in front of me is driving. And I wish I had it!

We would like to control things, people and phenomena so much that we put ourselves in an emotional state far from the one we would like to be in.

We would like to control others when we cannot control ourselves.

Experiences, because they are the main topic of today's entry, are like glasses that we put on every day after waking up.

When we experience sadness, anger, frustration and other negative emotions, we put on tinted glasses that also darken the image of the world around us. The world seems dark to us. And we assume that he is.

Someone who experiences only positive emotions can also wear glasses. Pink. Then he also sees a distorted image of reality.

The trick is to find glasses that improve our eyesight and allow us to perceive reality better. Without distorting it.

This may be difficult to do alone. Perhaps we need someone who stands aside and notices the moment when we put on these glasses. Friend. Partner. Close person.

I put on dark glasses and see a clown driving in front of me at a snail's pace, which will make me late for work. I put on pink and see a car slowly moving in front of me in the thicket of other cars and I notice a certain perfection in the world.

I put glasses that improve my eyesight and see a car in front of me that is driving slower than me. I match my pace to his. Perhaps it is driven by an older person whose hand-eye coordination is no longer what it was twenty years ago and, being careful, slows down the pace of his vehicle.

What glasses do you wear every day?
