Life is full of experiences. Today we will talk a little about them... Each of us experiences life in different forms every day. The wealth of experience is enormous. We experience a huge amount of emotions every day. Joy, sadness, anger, delight. But do we do it consciously? Do we choose our emotions? Do we let them choose us? When driving a car, I often encountered situations when I got angry at the way the driver in front of me  driving. I feet angry and I swear. It was usually a reflex emotion. Over time, however, I noticed these emotions and asked myself what the purpose was? My swearing and anger or frustration will not help me control another driver's driving. The frustration will only grow due to the fact that I have absolutely no influence on how the driver in front of me is driving. And I wish I had it! We would like to control things, people and phenomena so much that we put ourselves in an emotional state far from the one we would like to be in. We would like to control...

What are you dreaming about?

Inspirations arise in unpredictable moments. You don't wait for inspiration. Inspirations arise somewhat by accident. They are a byproduct of the exercise of mindful observing. Today's entry is about dreams. I do not know why. I was inspired by Jacek Walkiewicz. The man who appeared on TedxWSB on February 13, 2013 (the speech can be watched on YT). This twenty-minute performance, which I watched only recently (sometime around 2019-20), had a fundamental impact on my perception of the world. I highly recommend it to anyone who will spare 20 minutes of their precious time to watch this speech. Full power of possibilities What are you dreaming about? This is a very simple question and it wasn't easy for me to find the answer. Due to the fact that I had difficulty finding the answer to this question, I decided to ask other people as well. I wonder how everyone approaches their dreams. Do we dream materially? About a lot of money that, in our opinion, will solve many problems? ...

Paddle your own canoe

Inspiration stems from life. Moments in which we experience something and consciously feel the impact sometimes lead to inspiration.  This blog is no different. Seemingly insignificant moments occasionally result in profound inspiration. How do you experience your life? Whom do you live it for? Are you truly living it for yourself? Several recent events have been the driving force behind this entry… We often tell ourselves that we are free and that we make decisions independently of others. However, we frequently deceive ourselves, and in reality, many circumstances and people influence us. The extent of that influence remains our decision… to some extent. In truth, we shape ourselves throughout our lives. Unfortunately, from childhood, we are taught that we should be subservient and listen to others. Other people are right. When we are children, our natural sense of freedom is stifled because “certain things are not appropriate.” We adapt and are molded from an early age. I...

Moments

We sometimes reach a turning point.  Where it is located, everyone knows. Suddenly, one day, the realization strikes in the high notes of our existence:  the time has come for changes .  Changes are necessary.  The static nature of being exists only in death.  That’s how we are most intimately connected with ourselves -  in death.  But that wasn’t the point. It was supposed to be about changes.  So, I’ve come to the conclusion that changes are essential for full development of existence. Are the changes that occur in a barely noticeable way for us, those quite small changes are significant enough that, all in all, they make us someone completely different? The butterfly effect, I think. Every moment, every single breath. Every uttered sentence inexorably brings us closer to transforming into the entity we haven’t yet known but have already lived through.  In the clutches of time.  In the astonishing transformation of everything fa...

Give yourself a chance

I was going to write here more often, but unfortunately I did not do it and in 2024 this is my first entry.  This has its negative sides.  Every time I come up with an idea, unfortunately it escapes somewhere into space and it is difficult to grasp the thought.  But I remember the outlines of my last topic, so let me dwell on that.  * * * Some situations that have led me to think that many people are very critical of themselves.  We have an inner critic in our heads, an eternal dawdler.  The negative side of our being, which in situations when we need support pulls us down.  Unfortunately, our mind, for a unknown reason, directs us to trust this inner critic.  We keep telling ourselves that nothing will come of it, it will certainly fail.  Why try at all...  Do you want to start your own business?  Better not There are probably a lot of people doing business in an area where you would like to work.  The tax office will pr...
